3D Max - Video Post Problem - Technical Post
Ok Thats the current WRONG Video Post sequence. The Camera event should always be the first in the stack. ALLWAYS
After that, normall,y go the input events - filters, Highlights, glow etc - and finally the OUTPUT - in this occasion an avi file.
Now when we select a camera as a starting event we should have previously add a camera in our scene.
Now ADD a CAMERA to your scene. Place it as you want it to be. Turn one of your viewports to camera view - by pressing 'C' - use the camera tools - pan, zoom etc to fine tune your view.
Now open your Video Post Editor. SELECT the Camera event and click on the icon with the X at the left top of your video post window (event deletion). Your Camera event will be deleted. Go to the add Camera event icon and add a new camera event in your VP sequence. Drag and drop the events to create a sequence like the one pictured (click to enlarge)
1 Camera
2 Output
Some Useful Notes:
1 - Use Video Post ONLY if you want to use some special filters or effects in your scene.
2 - If you decide that you ll need to use video post in your scene be sure for :
a- What are u going to work with a camera or just perspective view?
b-If you select Camera then add a camera event input in Video Post.
c-If you select to stick just with your perspective view select perspective view event in VP.
d-Real men use camera.
